Why Tamarindo?

Tamarindo, once a small fishing village, is now the major center of the booming 
tourism region of Guanacaste’s Gold Coast. With a lifestyle dominated by beautiful 
beaches and a lot of sun, Playa Tamarindo is attracting a very international 
community and lots of tourists from all over the world. Year round, the number 
of visitors is growing, all of them looking for accommodation, food, services, 
shopping and entertainment. 

More than other towns along the coast, Tamarindo takes advantage of the fast 
developing tourism industry because of its excellent beaches and the already 
existing infrastructure of hotels and restaurants. The number of vacation a
partments and private houses is growing steadily with a good share in high end 
developments. As a result there is an increasing demand for products and services. 
Even if the number of new businesses is increasing too, there are still a lot of things 
that people only can get in San José, a four to five hours drive away.
